The days go by so quickly, and the years are passing with alarming speed. Now is the time to work on the proverbial Bucket List, or the bucket will be used to to toss dirt, and those dreams, on my grave at the cemetery!
Traveling through the Panama Canal has long been a dream of mine. Everything about it is interesting. It’s truly a modern day Wonder of the World. Imagine crossing a continent, going from one ocean to another in the span of a day. Thousands died of disease and injury trying to dig the canal. It’s breathtaking and terrible at the same time. As are most of man’s spectacular achievements.
My husband, George, thought it would be fun to take a cruise to South America. I jumped on the idea, if we could go through the Panama Canal. We decided to invite our 14 year old granddaughter, Emma, to join us. Come join our adventure!
